Cleaning Tips for 2010
For you, how important is cleanliness? Do you like living in a house that is full of mess and dirt? I’m sure you don’t. Living in a dirty house is not pleasurable, but the thought of maintaining its cleanliness is tedious, too. This new year make sure your nesting place achieved the cleanliness that it deserves.
Make a schedule. Working more than 8 hours a day, taking care of our children and doing errands occupies most of our time. We can’t have at least 5 hours a day and sometimes we prefer not to. Finding the right time to have a cleaning session and managing your hectic schedule is one of the better way.
Motivate yourself. Cleaning is for sure not everyone’s activity and no one wants to be miserable just by doing it. Ask yourself first, are you cleaning because you are asked to do so or you want to clean because you want to? Look forward for positive outcome. Have fun while cleaning. Wear your comfortable clothes, put your favorite music and reward yourelf after doing it.
Make a plan. No plan of attack results to inefficiency. Before starting, plan on what part of the house you will begin cleaning. You can touch all the areas of the house if you have the sense of direction.
Mix your own cleaning solutions. Though you can buy commercialized cleaning solutions. But if you ran out of it while cleaning, you will find it very hassle to go out again and stop your cleaning session. You can use alternatives you can find in your own home. Ammonia with 3 parts of water in an empty spray bottle can be used to clean windows, appliances and countertops. Full strength it can remove wax build-up from the kitchen floor. 1/2 cup vinegar mixed with 1 tablespoon salt is an excellent way to scrub copper and brass. To deodorize garbage cans and scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom floor, use pine oil in full strength. Baking soda can be also used instead of scouring powder and also removes stains and odors from refrigerators and coffee pots. Sprinkling dry baking soda before vaccuming will freshen up the carpets.
Green cleaning. Cleaning Cleaning your house should not be limited inside it and around your yard. Include cleaning the environment. It is not hard or complicated. Begin with your own, simple way. Avoid toxins and improve your home which impacts the bigger picture. Make your own cleaners, switch to eco-friendly alternatives. Save water, observe proper waste disposal and recycle.
Our house should be protecting us right? Well it can only do its job if you do yours. Keeping your house clean is your number one job. Time is not a hindrance and a reason why you are not able to maintain the cleanliness. Everything starts from home, so keep it safe and clean.
